Thinking about Complexity
Staying curious when actions have unexpected results.
In complex systems, one action can have multiple effects. Some are immediate, while others are delayed or completely unexpected.
Unexpected Consequences
When you solve a problem in one part of the system, you might create a new one somewhere else. This is called a "second-order effect".
Stay Curious
Instead of looking for a single "right" answer, systems thinkers look for multiple perspectives to understand the messy reality.
